WHO'S MARGARITA?

Margarita, AKA Maggie is an outlandish but loveable fictional character who's going to take you travelling around the world!

Maggie owns 'The Last Stop' bed & breakfast in the southwest of England, is famous for her Tuesday night 'Love It Or Hate It' supper clubs, (an accidental ritual stemming from a need to cover up her terrible cooking) and considers herself owned by a disobedient rescue dog called Ted.

After a few decades of being delightfully immersed in the world of fungi as a mycologist, at 54 years old Maggie is an unlikely adventurer but a chance encounter with a Guatemalan musician changes all that. Get your first letter here to find out why!

Created by outdoor adventurer and expedition leader Emma from England and brought to life by amazingly talented Guatemalan artist Desiree, Letters From Margarita will have you exploring the world in no time!

Meet The Creator!

Letters From Margarita began as fun, creative project in the whirlwind brain of world traveller, expedition leader and Tour Manager, Emma.

After 15+ years of leading trips and exploring the world, the idea to document and share her experiences came to life!

With the aim of gently reminding readers that the world IS a beautiful place full of mind-blowing scenery (have you SEEN the Patagonian mountain ranges at dawn), kind, compassionate people and a magical abundance of animal and plant life, did you know there are over eight million animal species on planet earth, let's celebrate this TODAY!

Emma enjoys long slow coffee's, fast motorbikes, painfull-but-rewarding long distance hikes and strokes ALL the dogs she meets on her travels.
